BOB BISACCIA
Performance Biography

For over 50 years, Bob Bisaccia has served as President of one of New York’s leading consulting firms dealing with all matters of NYC building code/zoning law, and construction management known as Robert R. Bisaccia, Inc. and Bisaccia and Associates.

In 1982, Bob was assigned by Zachary Fisher, a principal in Fisher Brothers Real Estate, to assist in coordinating the conversion of the aircraft carrier, USS Intrepid, into the world-class museum that it is today.

Bob’s network of real estate management led him to become part of the limited partnership for the Broadway show, “Annie.”

Bob’s own passion for performing was heightened the week following 9/11 when he started producing musical fundraising events for New York Police and Fire Departments at several venues, including the Iridium.

Bob had the good fortune of meeting the legendary promoter, Sid Bernstein. Sid encouraged Bob to follow his dream and introduced him to a network of associates in the music industry. Mr. Bernstein proudly presented Bob at his first concert show at the Queens Theater in the Park with the Lew Anderson Orchestra to a sell-out audience of 450.

Bob subsequently produced his second concert at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY with Lanny Meyers as musical director featuring the Todd Sullivan 22-piece orchestra.  The radio show host and Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame celebrity, Joey Reynolds, was MC at this event.

Bob produced and performed at a concert for Fisher House at the Emelin Theater in Mamaroneck, New York and the USO Show Troupe.

Bob was featured at The Cutting Room in Manhattan to a sell-out audience of 350 for a tribute to the legendary promoter, Sid Bernstein, who also promoted Bob at many of the venues in the metropolitan area including tv and radio interviews.  Bob also was a guest on the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, Joey Reynolds radio show.

Joey was also the MC at several shows that Bob had performed and produced.  Joey introduced Bob to the legendary superstar guitarist, Les Paul.  When Les heard Bob sing, Les invited Bob to be a special guest on the Les Paul show held at the Iridium in Manhattan.  Bob was accompanied by Les and his musicians to a packed, sell-out audience of 375 plus at the Iridium.

These concerts were followed by a performance at Birdland with Lew Anderson’s orchestra, the Cotton Club, and several other outstanding venues and four country clubs within Westchester County. On September 13th, Bob performed at the historical Ferragosta Festival in the Bronx on Arthur Avenue.

Bob began his passionate hobby in singing and promoting musical shows for our troops and families for Fisher House, it also led him to perform in Las Vegas at the Stardust Lounge.  Bob also performed on a Carvinal Cruise Line from New York to Nova Scotia to an audience of over 4,000.

His presentation and singing of The Impossible Dream from the Broadway show, Man of La Mancha, was praised by the ship’s captain and his entire staff and the audience. Bob also received a return invitation from Carnival Cruise Lines.

Bob has also performed in New Orleans Festival.
